Our Wedding

Kara and Keano met in downtown Raleigh, in February 2022. Although Kara was already planning a move to Richmond, VA, shortly after they met, they made long-distance work with plenty of trips back and forth. After a year, Kara moved back to Raleigh, where they now live with their dog, Kai; cats Basil, Charlie Chaplin, and Juice; and their fish, Zuko. Over the last four and a half years, they’ve made countless memories together—kayaking and fishing at Falls Lake, canoe camping down the Cape Fear River, searching for the haziest IPA at local breweries, watching movies on the beach at night, celebrating mountain hikes with an airplane bottle at the summit, sitting through each others tattoo appointments, and cooking their favorite meals at home (pierogies and kielbasa are a staple). They’re excited to celebrate the next chapter of their adventure with all of you!
